Reimagining the Baby on Board Badge for Hoop

Family activity booking app Hoop has always been parent-focused, and new insight revealed that pregnant women were particularly important, with mothers-to-be thinking ahead to life with a little one and the local activities available.

To make them aware of Hoop, we needed eye-catching activity that spoke to an issue they face directly. With almost a third of pregnant women (28%) saying they still felt overlooked on public transport despite being visibly pregnant, we had our route in. We worked with the mothers behind some of Hoop’s most creative classes to create eye-catching new designs for the humble Baby on Board badge, not only increasing visibility, but also making them more stylish.

Media coverage was extensive, including appearing live on ITV news and the Huffington Post, causing a surge in app downloads and our free badges to run out in just a few days.
